Before I disappear again for a couple of weeks, can I just put on record that, despite the many doubters, I believe that the iPad will not only be a huge success but will redefine the entire concept of the home computer.

My point is that, like the iPhone it’s going to change everything.

Just like the iPhone, in a year or two there will be endless new copies from other manufacturers scrambling to catch up. Within quite a short space of time I expect not just the netbook market but the entire home computer market to undergo a massive transformation.

I can’t even pre-order one yet. It doesn’t have a launch date over here in the UK but I wanted to put some skin in the game before it’s too late and I look like a bandwagon jumper.

I will have more to say on this when time permits.

…is that sometimes urgent work comes in and all other life stops until it’s done. This is one of those times.

I am so busy that developments on this site are now scheduled for early April 2010. Sorry about that. Work comes first.
